Bures United is a well established Village football team, catering for both youth and senior football.
Founded in 1921 the club is an integral part of the community welcoming players from the age of 4 through to adult.
The club has also achieved the “Charter Status” based on it’s professional set up including qualified football coaches. Coaching staff are qualified to level 1 FA coaching as well as first aid and child welfare.
Training and matches are played on the Bures recreational ground and in the last few years the club secured additional grounds to ensure we have multiple pitches to ensure we can cater for the needs of an expanding club.

As a village team we are based around some basic principles:
1) Inclusion of all everybody & anybody can participate in training and matches.
2) We are a team, we work together as a team for the success of the club. Everybody involved in the club does so on a voluntary basis.
3) Not for profit, every penny raised goes directly back into the club.
4) Safety first, we believe our priority is to ensure the football experience is a safe one.
5) Having fun, football is serious business, however we aim to provide coaching that is inspiring and enjoyable.
